Synergy Staging — Club Participation, Payment, and Arbitration Terms

Please read this packet before any signup (league, Mini Club, club tryout, club season, open gym, or private lesson). By typing your name and checking the box you agree, for yourself and for any minor player you register, to these terms. A signed copy is stored on the player account.

1. Programs and how fees work

Leagues bill monthly. You may let the month auto-renew or renew each month in the family portal. Cancel stops the NEXT month only. There is no mid-month proration. The current paid month stays paid and the player stays eligible through that paid period.

Mini Club bills monthly like league. Pay at signup with a card. Cancel stops the NEXT month only. There is no mid-month proration. The current paid month stays paid. Program length is set by the club (Mini club length in months).

Private lessons are a one-time fee for 1-hour blocks. Book again when you want another hour. Lessons are not a wizard signup track.

Open gym is a one-time session fee, typically for adults, and may be purchased again for later sessions.

Club season: (1) a one-time tryout fee, which is NON-REFUNDABLE; (2) a deposit to hold a roster spot until you commit, which is NON-REFUNDABLE; (3) after commit, order uniforms through the existing kit; (4) remaining balance pay-in-full or split into recurring monthly installments (configurable count, typically 4–5 months); (5) amounts vary by team caliber / program level.

2. Non-refundable tryout fee and deposit

The club tryout fee is one-time and NON-REFUNDABLE, including if the player is not selected, withdraws, is injured, or does not attend. The roster-spot deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. It holds the place until you commit; it is not a monthly installment and is not returned if you later decline the team, relocate, or quit.

3. Monthly and installment fees — no mid-period refund

League and Mini Club monthly fees and club remaining-balance installments are not refunded mid-period. Canceling stops the next month only. Club remaining balance is a season installment plan, not an endless month-to-month subscription. Uniform kit is ordered separately after commit.

4. Past due, declined cards, and lockout

A past-due or declined bill blocks practice, check-in, and tournaments for THAT player. They stay on the roster until a director Releases the spot. Unpaid on one player does not block a sibling. Staff never take card numbers; a registrar may mark cash or check paid. We email the family account about billing. We do not text about bills.

5. Assumption of sport risk and limitation of liability

Volleyball is a contact and jumping sport. It involves risk of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussion, and rare catastrophic injury. To the maximum extent allowed by the law of the venue state, you release, waive, and agree not to sue the Club, its coaches, directors, volunteers, gyms, and affiliates for ordinary negligence arising from sport participation, travel, or use of facilities. This does not waive liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where the law forbids that waiver. Nothing here limits any non-waivable right of a minor under applicable law.

6. Medical treatment consent — pointer

Medical history and, for minors, Florida Region / Fla. Stat. 1014.06 treatment consent are separate required forms on the family portal. This packet is not those medical forms. You still must complete them before the player may practice or play. In an emergency, staff may seek reasonable first aid and call emergency services.

7. Photo, video, and social media consent

By signing, you grant the Club (and its coaches, staff, and contractors) permission to photograph and/or record video/audio of the player at practices, matches, tournaments, camps, and club events, and to use that media for:

  • coaching / training review;
  • club websites, apps, and family portals;
  • printed or digital marketing (flyers, programs, emails);
  • the Club's social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X) and similar platforms;
  • news/media coverage of club events;
  • and, for eligible club athletes who opt into recruiting, recruiting pages and college outreach materials.

You understand media may be public once posted and may be reshared. A headshot/photo is not required to practice, check in, or play. Public recruiting listing remains optional and locked until the family completes the recruiting bio. Mini Club athletes are not listed on the public recruiting board. If you need a special media restriction (safety/custody), contact the club director in writing before the season; the Club will use reasonable efforts to accommodate but cannot guarantee exclusion from every wide-angle team or gym photo.

8. Binding arbitration (AAA) and class-action waiver

Except for claims that the law requires a court to hear (for example, certain injunctive relief or claims that cannot be arbitrated), any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, signup, fees, participation, or the Club's programs shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or Commercial Rules if the Consumer Rules do not apply). The seat and venue of arbitration shall be in the State of Florida. The arbitrator may award any relief available in court on an individual basis. YOU AND Synergy Staging WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. YOU AND Synergy Staging WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Claims must be brought in an individual capacity only. If a court holds the class-action waiver unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) may proceed in court; all other claims remain in arbitration. This arbitration clause is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

9. Electronic signature

Typing your legal name, checking the agreement box, and submitting is your electronic signature under the E-SIGN Act and the Florida Uniform Electronic Transaction Act. We store your name, the checkbox, the timestamp, your IP address, and an HTML snapshot of this packet on the player account. You may re-view the signed copy in the family portal.

10. Changes

The Club may update this packet. New signups must sign the then-current version. A signed copy is not rewritten in place; you keep the snapshot you signed.
